2009 Gift Wrapping Event

Please notice that at the bottom of the screen the tabs are noted as either (B) Band or (S) Sports days. We can't operate this awesome fundraiser without the help of our fantastic parent volunteers. Don't forget, students can help too with an adult. As we have a contract with the Mall it is critical to have every shift staffed with 2 adults at all times, otherwise, we may loose this opportunity for future fundraising.
Gift Wrap Concession at the Concord Mall is our primary fundraiser for countless years . Last year Band Boosters raised thousands
of dollars in profit that benefits the many support activities of the Band and Tiger (sports) Boosters.
We are fortunate to have this Gift Wrap concession, which is essentially a place of business which we agree to staff and keep open every hour the mall is open between Black Friday and 6 PM on Christmas Eve. A handful of parent volunteers who run this “Gift Wrap Shop” contribute an unbelievable amount of hours to organize this project. What we ask from all of the A.I. Band families is that each family fill one shift of 2 (or 3) hours in length for each child you have in the band. Band Boosters staff half of the days and Tiger Boosters (sports teams) staff the other half.
If you have a child in sports and in band (which most people do), you are asked to work one shift for each sport in which your child(ren) participates, and (as stated before) one shift for each child that is in the band. All of the money collected is split evenly between Tiger Boosters and Band Boosters, after the expenses are paid. We realize that it is a busy time of the year but we think these valuable activities AND OUR KIDS are worth it!

Brick Paver Project
The entrance to Tiger Stadium has been beautified with a new patio area and we invite you to have one or more brick pavers personalized as a remembrance of your participation as a member of the Tiger Bands and/or sports teams, in honor of loved ones, teachers or coaches. They also make wonderful holiday, birthday or graduation gifts!
To get your stadium patio paver(s), please print this reservation form for personalizing patio pavers and submit to committee chairs Walt Diehl and Don Dzielak by mail. Each paver you wish to personalize should have an individual form with a check in the amount of $75.00 for each paver, payable to A I du Pont Band Boosters.
